Christmas Compassion
Fill the Truck Toy Drive: Sept. 1 - Thanksgiving: This holiday season, AREA 42 is turning compassion into celebration. We have officially joined Elevate MN with their heart-driven community initiative to bring joy, warmth, and hope to families in need across Minnesota. Collaborating with many other amazing businesses, we are aiming to fill an 18-foot box truck with new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to local children just in time for Christmas. Join us in reaching t

Danksgiving
Our Danksgiving was a hit! Cannabuttered corn, "herbal" stuffing, THC infused candied yams... Mac n cheese, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, ham and turkey, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, four different pies, ice cream, oh my goodness... I had such a blast playing with childhood toys. One member brought their yo-yos and showed off some really cool tricks and then a few of us went on a mission to find string for Cat's Cradle.

Hashy Halloween Bash
Mummified brownies, Frankenstein's monster Rice Krispies, and severed popcorn hands - all infused with THC, plus two strains of pre-rolls and three flavors of dabs... I don't know how I'll ever top this year's Hashy Halloween Bash because it was wild! I had shared this video to amp everyone up for the Fear Factor Challenge and then was a little unprepared for how many people wanted to participate. FEAR FACTOR CHALLENGE: Participants took turns rolling dice and had to eat wha

Crafty Crafts
Here are some of our Crafty Crafts from last night's event. With so many parts, the haunted house took some team effort. My favorite part of the night was seeing how drastically different everyone's autumn tree and toilet paper characters were despite the very basic instructions that were given. Everyone had the same materials at hand, but crafted them into entirely different things than the person next to them. One tree had a leaf with a word written on it for each thing tha

Meet Sally
We held a naming contest for the spotted salamander we found on 9/7/2025. We announced the winner at the Puff n' Paint: Blacklight Edition event. Our 4-year-old won with "Sally Mander." I was partial to "Toothless" like from How to Train a Dragon . Tonight is Game Night: Stoner Edition Weeds Take a Hit Puff, Puff, Pass ( cannabis-themed card games).

Sneak Peak
Wow. What a blast! I had such a good time last night. If you have been looking for a judgement-free place to partake, I hope you choose to make this your home base because I have been craving that kind of connection. Not this social media connection, but that presence you can FEEL when someone is sitting right next to you. Real, authentic, genuine, human connection. It's different, right? When I first had the idea of AREA 42, I imagined it as a beacon for all of the outcasts,
