Interstate State Park

This Day Trip is located (1 hour 40 minutes away) in Taylors Falls, Minnesota. There is potential to stop by Wilke Glen Falls on the way if enough people are interested in checking out the waterfall. The Franconia Sculpture Garden is nearby as well (similar to Hot Sam's). Interstate State Park is also known as "Pothole Park" because of the massive potholes that have been carved into the rock by melting glaciers many years ago. Some of them are large enough to fit a school bus in! After checking out potholes, we will cross the bridge and enter the Wisconsin side to relax by the river's edge and do a picnic. From here, there is an opportunity to do some bouldering before getting back on the trail to the main lookout point. The trail is intermediate level.
